Two Updates For The Price Of One

I've been really busy lately. I got promoted at work, my final semester at Ryman Arts ended, and I'm going to graduate High School soon. I'm a bit of a busy bee lately but that doesn't mean my art career was put on hold. In fact two big reasons why I didn't post was because I had two big art events going on simultaneously. To start off my final school art show happened. It was a bittersweet event. As a graduating senior I had my own section all to my self. It was really great but it was my final art show and I'm pretty sad.

The sort of theme for every seniors' section was art from all years of high school, so there are probably lots of artworks you don't recognize. But pretty soon in my third portfolio update you'll see these beauties. It was so satisfying seeing my progression from sophomore year till now. I was able to see how much I've improved and seeing that just gave me an amazing sense of growth. It was also really cool seeing all my other friends progression's as well.

It's really cool seeing their art styles and their progressions. There were also lots of other cool artworks from various students.

Over all a fun show and I'm glad my last one could be great. With that being said as I had my final school art show I participated for the first time in the Santa Fe Art Show.

This was something I am so so so so so glad I got to be apart of. This is my first art show that is outside of school and I'm proud I did it.

I was joined by my little entourage. The Santa Fe Art Show was a really great experience. Lots of artist and art related companies showed up and demonstrated their work.

I tried standing next to people who were looking at my so that I could overhear what they say. One lady complemented my soft pastel figure drawing. It gave me a huge ego boost.

There was tons of art displayed. These are just some of my favorite.

I even saw this guy who looks like Danny Devito

There was just so much talent and amazing art. After the show I got really inspired to create and make something awesome for next years art show. Expect a portfolio update soon now that I'm done with high school and I got a lot of artwork back.
