ART ADDICT

"Who is Javier Gil..." is how a friend suggested I start this bio: so I did. Originally I hailed from Dallas, Tx, but at the age of 15 I moved to Whittier, CA. Im kind of an awkward person but I promise I get better the more you get to know me: atleast I hope so. I wouldnt describe myself as one of the cool kids. I love cartoons, anime, and video games; that enough should be a dead give away as to the type of person I am, but enough about me. The point of this website is to be a sort of online portfolio: just to show off my work. Art is my passion and I hope to be able to make a career based off my work. I try being as creative as I can with my work. I love color but at the same time I love the simplicity of black and white. I like drawing characters and having a cartoony art style but I also enjoy going realistic with some work. Im still learning, as currently I am in high school, and I hope to improve my skills as I go along. There's lots of ideas, techniques, and mediums I want to try out, so hopefully having to update this site will motivate me to do so.
